Spector & Associates, New York, marked its 20th anniversary May 11 at the Maritime Hotel in Manhattan with nearly 100 guests from the PR industry.
Shelley Spector, who founded and heads the independent New York firm, praised PR's "ownership of the online dialog" and predicted more firms will break away from the ad/PR conglomerates just as agencies MWW Group and Brodeur recently did.
